I first became interested in photography already as a child, and after first having used my mother's instamatic camera and then my own compact camera, I bought a SLR camera for saved money at the age of 13.

So it all began. The thing is that it didn't really continue. Life kind of got in the way, and I got other interests as well. I was busy with school, friends, work and so on. Somehow I seemed to take less photos for every year that passed by.

Now, in 2007, I suddenly felt the urge to once again discover the world of photography. I'm kind of back where it all began. I'm a very amateurish photographer, and I'm back to using just a compact camera (because I prefer the digital format which allows me to take a lot of pics without worrying about 'wasting film', and I want to get better at photography before I buy a digital SLR camera).

I want to develop my photography skills. Which would best be done by taking heaps of photos every day. With a busy schedule and a fulltime job I often find it hard to fit in the photography though. So I thought that keeping a photoblog might motivate me to get at least a few photos taken even on the busiest of days.
